Barbara Hicks graduated from Mount Saint Vincent University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Barbara has been in business since 1994, her specialty in marketing has taken her across Canada teaching for the Public and Private sectors. Barbara's passion is working with startup businesses assisting the development of marketing plans. As a key note speaker at International Women's Day, Women in Business and Small Business Week, her passion for business is apparent. She offers a range of workshops and business consulting services. Barbara originally hails from Moncton, New Brunswick but since graduating from MSVU she decided Nova Scotia would be her home.

I have been a business owner operator for over 30 years and was a bit nervous taking the Leadership 1 course, now I am waiting for the 2nd level of this course to be offered. It has opened a new way of thinking for me.
For example In the business world we have difficult conversations, generational gaps, and different communication styles.
